To use these files:
Click on the filename of the file you want and choose a place to download it on your hard drive. Unzip the contents into a directory using PeaZiplink icon utility which can be freely downloaded. Find and read the readme file for any extra instructions. Usually you should put all unzipped files in Red Alert directory!

Description: The Red Army storms Europe and the Eastern Hemisphere after which Kane tries to convert the USSR into the Brotherhood of NOD. But, Josef Stalin's son, Karlos Stalin (born to Nadia's sister, whom Stalin had an affair with) amasses an army and overthrows Kane. Now, Stalin has declared war on the West, and as a result Canada and Mexico become part of the US in order to get protection from the coming Soviet Storm. This is the demo for of this story, with the first two missions from the Soviet Campaign and the first mission of the American Campaign and all units enabled so you can take the battle for the fate of the world to multi-player on the included maps: the Nuclear Kool-Aid Acid Test, the Nulcear Kool-Aid Acid Test 2, Alternate Route, Totaly Unfair, Totaly Unfair 2: In Frozen Blood and Totaly Unfair 5: The Darkest Hour.

Description: Rise to Power does not add any new maps or missions to Red Alert. What Rise to Power does do is totally change the gameplay of Red Alert. New units and buildings along with a modified rules.ini make this patch a very unique and fun way to play Red Alert. This is not a "subs have nuclear bombs" patch. None of the essential original Red Alert units are modified in any way. The only noticeable change (other than the new units and buildings) is that instead of building a radar dome to get a tech center, you must build a barracks and war factory. This was done in order to make the computer "smarter", because if you haven't noticed, the computer is not allowed to build certain things after building a radar dome (it's complicated and that's as far as I'll explain it).
