This section houses almost all available custom maps for use in Red Alert multiplayer games against the AI in "Skirmish" mode or against human opponents. Each map is packed in zip file to save server disk space and bandwidth, also in order to make it possible to verify data integrity of downloaded files.

To use these maps:
Click on the "Download" link of the map you want and choose a place to download it on your hard drive. Unzip the map(s) you want to your main Red Alert directory (usually C:\WESTWOOD\REDALERT).
This can be done using PeaZip utility which can be downloaded for a free.

You can now start up Red Alert and choose the map(s) to play on from the list of maps in the multiplayer settings. Note, if you have several maps in your directory, Red Alert can take longer to load up (although it does not affect the gameplay). If you wish to remove maps simply delete or rename files ending with a .mpr extension.

Description: This map totally stops tankrushing with the too easy to solve maze which acts as a border. There is a big patch of ore in the center which is surronded by water(with 4 outer ones, you must control it soon or die because of the lack of Ore in the maze. That is when allies get the balance. I know the maze looks complicating but it is just your eyes playing tricks on you. The only dead ends are a spot where a gemstone patch used to be.

Players who favor sea attacks will have to do a lot of sailing to find the enemy, but will be able to pound their whole base once found. Description: The breakup of the map is nice I think. I like all the bridges in this one since you can simply blow them all up if you don't want people to get through.The water along the outside of the map allows for the Allies to use their boats so the Allies have a chance against the Soviets in this map. The problem with this map is lack of space.
